The site does not collect any personal information from its viewers other than statistical.
The site was started in 2007 when Mitchells & Butlers, the owners, decided to do away with the traditional pie and replace them with their standard menu. The site ran a petition to "Save the Pie" and received 65,000 responses over 2 weeks, saw local and national press and television coverage, we were sent emails from all over the world in support, and received personal support from celebrities, all of which on being presented to Mitchells & Butlers saw the return of the pie to the daily menu. Hence the reason for the site still being active... and The Horse Shoe still selling pies
It's a record of the history of the pub and also what's happening in it to this day.
Anyone is welcome to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if they'd like to add anything to the website content.
